When the #Edinburgh #municipal #LothianBuses bus network gets •completely borked• because of traffic congestion (and really not helped by other diversions in effect today), the only sensible thing for a city claiming to be #sustainable to do would be to close this important bus corridor to private cars (at least for the day), to keep the city and its citizens moving! @EdinburghGreens

If catching #LothianBuses to/from Leith St, #Edinburgh, for your Friday night out tonight, all southbound/uphill buses are diverted via York Pl (calling at Picardy Pl) due to roadworks until ~01:00 (cycleway and pavements still open).

Great to see #EdinburghTrams running extra all night #trams for #EdFests: very handy for a night out in Leith and then connect with #LothianBuses #NightBuses home. 👍
