Finished Lost Words: Beyond the Page today, and once again a puzzle platformer exceeds expectations with its story and themes. It's definitely a fun game, but once you get to a certain part of the story, things take on a new meaning and seem to carry much more weight.
I definitely enjoyed the different approach in the gameplay though, using words literally as tools to help make your way through the levels.
A couple of hours and a few chapters into Lost Words: Beyond the Page, and I like where this game is going. The story is good and the game mechanics are very creative. The voice acting is great, and considering the story is narrated as you play it, this is a good thing. Plus I really like the "choose your own adventure" element where you get to decide certain things along the way which affect the story.
At my current pace, I expect to finish Lost Words in a week or less, and then wish it went on for longer.
