Some people might feel a bit grumpy that riches funnelled from the privatisation of Russian state companies have elevated one of Putin's people to a house trusted to write laws that will govern the UK for decades (centuries?) hence.
Indeed I trust the Lords more than I trust the Commons for such a task.
I lament the monarch did not feel able to intervene.
