Look For The Helpers
I’m going to look in the mirror and see a helper when I wake up tomorrow. 
Today I had to think of the people who volunteer to get people to and from the non-emergency medical care they need through the Palo Alto Airport, which is near Stanford University Medical Center and other providers.
In recent years, I've learned that these "angel flights" are frequent, averaging nearly one a day at Palo Alto Airport.
Also, Stanford's trauma center Life Flight helicopter refuels at Palo Alto Airport.
I've been seeing a lot of distressing news lately.
Fortunately, I grew up with Fred Rogers on TV, and today I see a lot of helpers around me, and seeing them--and their willingness to show up and be seen--that gives me hope.
Fred Rogers: Look for the Helpers
"You know, my mother used to say--long time ago, whenever there would be any really cat--catastrophe that was on the--in the movies or or on the air, she would say, 'Always look for the helpers.'
There were--there will always be helpers, you know, even just on the sidelines.
That's why I think that if news programs could make a conscious effort of showing rescue teams--of--of showing who medical people--anybody who is coming into a place where there's a tragedy to be--to be sure that they include that because if you look for the helpers you'll know that there's hope."

Not only is it a LOT to take in, I know you’ll get deeply into the weeds on each case (which we all depend upon) and that will take a lot of your time and energy.
Got crafty today and by way of wizardry with cardboard, a cutter, and hot glue I made some things out of what I had lying around because I didn't have moolah for new display units for my upcoming addition to my vending table: A mutual aid distro mini table!
