.. and with eyes that seem to have changed composition suddenly, from a tight sort of professionalism, always kind but removed, and in a lower, different tone than she usually speaks, she asked "how are you?". After an hour of telling her how I was, she wanted to know how I was. and I told her I understood and how I was with a laugh and a wonky shrug and a look exchanged.
I hope when she retires she slips me a note with her cell. LOL
