I saw people on my TL talking about the last time they cooked for someone else and in my case, that's easy to remember:
February 2020, just before I went into pandemic isolation.
Because February 2020 + the first week of March 2020 are the last times I did anything involving other people.
I realized recently that i make art of one kind or another basically every single day, but I rarely share any of it, for objectively nonsense reasons
This is what I started today. I almost assuredly won't finish today but it helps SO much with a bunch of my symptoms just to be doing it

We've had a couple of fun Sunday afternoon (4pm EST) cult classic movie watch parties. I seems to be a good time - evenings for Europe, early aft for Pacific coast.
I'd like to get it going as a quasi-regular event, but would need someone to take the lead on facilitating, I don't have it in me right now.
Basically pick a movie, and toot it out. I can boost it lots and will join in when I can.
Doesn't need to be every week.

So why aren't there any COVID- and immune-compromised-safe dating / friendship / escort services out there? (Or are there??)
There are still so many people who are really vulnerable to this new disease are still isolating, some alone. That's not ok. Everybody deserves to feel skin-on-skin contact - a hug from a friend, a lover's caress - *something* that reassures our systems that we are still here, still present with others.

Today marks six years for me of living in isolation without human touch.
I am feeling both the milestone and the accumulation.
My full heart goes out to everyone else hitting their own anniversaries around this time of year.
It is brutal. And it is still better than COVID.
