Enjoyed watching the latest Live From Soho podcast at the lovely Underbelly Boulevard this evening. James Bierman of Empire Street Productions interviewing the fabulous Marianne Elliott. The North East's Robert Icke up for the next episode.

Just had the pleasure of watching ‘Good Night, Oscar’ in the front row at The Barbican. Sean Hayes was phenomenal, as was the whole cast to be honest. Telling the tale of virtuoso Oscar Levant, often struggling with his mental health on live TV.
Brilliant production - I love the mid-century set design, clever lighting and the subtle ‘padded wall’ background.

#Stereophonic at Duke of York's tonight. Didn't work for me. Far too long with a barely there, dramatically underpowered plot and no real thesis. Despite this, it never drags thanks to a lot of funny lines and a very talented cast.

Chekhov's The Seagull at the Barbican Centre tonight, starring Cate Blanchett, Tom Burke, Emma Corrin, Jason Watkins and Tanya Reynolds. An imaginative production from Thomas Ostermeier with very good performances. Get a ticket if you can.
London folks!
I'm presenting a work in progress of a theatre-performance show called Le Grand Soir for the 1st time ever in the UK! It's on April 11th and 12th, 8pm and 7:30pm, at Theatre Deli.
We're testing out some performance protocols and interactive stuff and we would really appreciate your feedback! Come and see us for a night of emotional reflections, silly cross-cultural jokes, Russian pickles and Chinese music!

#LondonTheatre
Farewell Mister Haffmann at the Park Theatre tonight. A good play with good performances from an outrageously experienced and talented cast. Recommended.
