This is a rather satisfyingly-proportioned former industrial building by the Barras on London Road in Glasgow. Designed by G.S. Hill, it was constructed for Charles Lindsay in 1905 as part of his Rumford Ironmongery works (most of which was situated behind it, and was accessed by the central pend).

Craignestock Mansions on London Road in the East End of Glasgow. It's not really a mansion as such, but rather a slightly more upmarket tenenent building, with a pub (now the Calton Bar) occupying the corner site on the ground floor and a drying green on its roof.
