Kitchen update: All the old flooring and underlayment under the West wall cabinetry has been removed, the cabinets have been put back in place with new plywood underlayment under them, and spouse is now removing the top layer of vinyl flooring and plywood from the open area.

I found a picture of Loki close enough to the wood floors so you can see how orange they are.

He was once featured on the icanhazcheeseburger site, his one claim to internet fame. It was a picture of him lounging on the floor, and someone else had captioned it, “Wood-grained kitty is wood-grained.”

So yeah, our wood floors are Tabby Cat Orange! 🙀
