Unusual traffic on the #Vorchdorferbahn. On the occasion of the celebrations for 120 years of the Vorchdorfer Lokalbahn, a higher volume of passengers was (rightly) expected and a Stadler GTW from the Linzer Lokalbahn was allowed to help out.

The kkStB 310 at the Bohemian Steam Summer 2023. In the beautiful area around Volary, the routes lead through an untouched landscape. A great photo trip by bike, which you are allowed to ride through the national park.
The only disadvantage: although the area is just 90 km from Linz, the journey takes over 5 hours, as you have to take the detour via Budweis by train. Unfortunately, there are no cross-border bus connections from Aigen Schlägl.

On January 22nd, 2023 I took the #VorchdorferLokalbahn to the #Traunseetram. Since there are no heritage train trips in January, this is the closest you can get. An original railcar from the 50s still runs on this local railway from #Lambach to #Vorchdorf.
