Dr. Hunter (#DavidHartman), pretty much my favourite character in the show, takes the lead in this one.

It starts off being about cutting-edge genetic counselling and morphs neatly into a story about a man with an incurable and fatal disease.

#LoisNettleton is the pregnant lady, fearful of another miscarriage.

As ever, the show eschews sentimentality and plays it all like a textbook. I love that.
