First time on a #Loganair flight in a wee while, and they have some new boarding music.

Bloody hell! Epic music. Feels like we're off to explore long lost Egypt, rediscover Aztec civilisations or journey into space.

Hopefully got the Captain fully charged for a rainy trip to Heathrow.

Hopefully not am adventurous journey. I fancy a nap.

Manchester Monday 2 2nd February 2026.

G-BEEG, Britten-Norman BN-2A-26 Islander, Northern Airlines, wearing the colours of it's previous operator, LoganAir, at Manchester Barton, some time in the 1990s.
This wasn't an airline as s most people would recognise it, they operated ad hoc flights from local airfields to 3000+ feet, after which passengers would de-plane and make their own way to the ground.
And I'm jealous, because the one time I did a parachute jump, it was from the back of a crappy little Cessna 206, not one of these beauties.
Come to think of it, I was actually booked onto a LoganAir flight operated by a BN2, from Aberdeen to Glasgow, but it was over-booked, so they replaced it with an SD-3-60.
That was still a new type to me, and we had a "meal" service on board, which you wouldn't get on one of these, but still, I was gutted!
