The Crannog that burnt down five years ago has been rebuilt. For anyone in the Perth area I would recommend a visit. We will do so on our way back to the Highlands at the beginning of next month (and get a swim/paddle board trip in as well)

More from Scotland. Photos 1 to 4 were taken on a little walk along Loch Tay. Picture 5 is the Black Watch memorial in Aberfeldy, snowdrops by the river Tay.

Picture 7 is our transport parked on Aberfeldy high street as we had breakfast.

Picture 8 is on the A85 just after the A827 junction as we headed down to a lunch stop on Comrie.

There is so much to see, we will be back there next year in January or February.

The Tarmachan Ridge today, taking on Munro no. 85, Meall nan Tarmachan. Few showers here and there but never got soaked and tops clear. Fantastic wee ridge. The slightly less common horseshoe route, approaching from the north.
