I gave a new kitten-size Kickeroo toy to the cats as a present. It was mostly for Mort, who loved this particular color and size from the bottom of her tiny kitty heart, and then her sister Lobsang vengeance-piddled on it.
I have never heard a cat make so heart-breaking yowl while poking her ruined toy. I got her a replacement one, but it was too big, not the same color and Mort's reaction was best described as "Thanks... I guess."
WELL THEN. Last week I stumbled upon the same exact make of Kickeroo that got ruined, and it was pretty cheap, so I bought it. And today, before kittyparents had yuletide lunch, I gave the toy to the cats.
After these pictures were taken, a three-way brawl broke between Mort, Lobsang... and Didi!
