I had a lovely time playing EoW while recovering from top surgery, so I wanted to share my experience with the final boss and ending. This is filmed "OG-Kabba Style" since I was playing it through the TV and didn't feel like setting it up through my PC in order to screen record. I hope you enjoy it all the same! um wtf this rips?? this game rips???? i’m never taking this off

oh my god Echoes of Wisdom has a new rendition of the horse race theme from Ocarina of Time. finally getting some recognition as the best song in the Zelda series. this game rules

i mean it worked when i was playing Breath of the Wild with no items. get with it, Echoes of Wisdom

can’t believe this didn’t work. the *intended* solution is way simpler but idc, i wanna do stuff in weird jank ways ’cuz it’s fun

assorted nitpick/observation: yes your shader for the sunlight reflecting off the surface of the water is very nice, but unfortunately this is a rare case of graphics getting in the way of gameplay in this game. tilting the camera into top‐down view to get a better view of some parts of the riverbed makes it suddenly much more difficult to see, because the angle change makes the glare apply very strongly to all the water around Zelda.

also this video clip, which Mastodon initially let me attach to the end of the previous post but then told me i couldn’t post it alongside the images??

and while i’m talking about lesbians in video games: i love Nintendo putting gay thirsty women in Zelda?? this rules??

also interesting how it forcibly erases any echoes that are just close enough to where you got stuck. you don’t even have to be touching them, or have touched them at all since you last left the ground! i guess there were just too many ways that people could get themselves stuck in playtesting. in practice there’s not much harm done since echos don’t “cost” anything to make anyways.
