This may be a long shot but I'm planning a bike ride and need to know if I can cycle the entire length of this road.

I want to travel East to West on the Byway Open To Traffic at Pant Du near #Llanferres. Google Streetview shows a closed gate and a cyclist lifting his bike over the gate. I will not be able to lift mine. I wonder if he could have opened the gate, or is it locked?

Route planners say I can get through but what about the gate?

Can anyone advise, please?
