Following the tragedy, #Kira’s father, #Yurii_Glodan, joined the #Ukrainian Armed Forces. In November 2023, it was reported that he had been killed in combat.

#Liudmyla from #Dnipro has been making motanka dolls all her life. During a #Russian drone attack on the city, she was in the kitchen. #Liudmyla recalls seeing a huge flash and then blood on her stomach. After that, she lost consciousness.

When #Liudmyla was admitted to the hospital, she kept calling for her son, #Davyd. She also begged to save her cats, #Umka and #Taison, who were with her. Fortunately, they are alive.

"Is he lucky? I think so. And I am lucky to have him."

#Liudmyla_Kostiuk serves in the #Ukrainian Army with her cat #Grigio.

Before the full-scale war, #Liudmyla was a co-owner of a cafe, and in the first months after the #Russian invasion, she had to flee for #Italy with her family. Later, her sister's husband told #Liudmyla that the #100th Brigade lacked cooks, and in the summer of 2022, she decided to join the Armed Forces of #Ukraine

The funeral of 14-year-old #Ania, her mom #Iryna, and aunt #Liudmyla, who were killed in their own home in #Sumy on the night of October 22nd by a #Russian Shahed drone.

Only #Ania's father managed to survive. He was injured and was treated at a local hospital but managed to attend the funeral.
