Prize for Merchant of Death (whitewash)

In 1894, Alfred Nobel purchased the Bofors iron and steel mill, which he made into a major #armamentsmanufacturer. Nobel invented #ballistite a precursor to many smokeless military explosives, especially the British smokeless powder #cordite. Of Nobel’s wealth from 355 inventions: #dynamite is the most famous.

#LittleKnownNobelPrizes #HashtagGames Princeton University physics department awarded the 2043 prize for successfully demonstrating time travel. Later amended in 2048 to an award for demonstrating timeline retconning, original award restored to Duke University.
