Some vaguely good news.
My fibre broadband is supplied by Lit Fibre via CityFibre.
Lit Fibre are transferring all their customers to Zen Internet.
While I've had no major issues with Lit, the support has been mediocre, and their supplied equipment is, frankly, pants.
Zen have an excellent reputation, so this might be a longer term relationship than I anticipated.
The new #broadband is working extremely well with 100mbps up and down (are those the correct units?).
My only gripe is that the supplied router (MitraStar MGS2028E-2) has got really puny wifi signals on both 2.4gHz & 5gHz that doesn't reach the whole house - so I'm running most things through my Tenda Nova mesh which can't handle those sort of speeds.
I'll think about gettting a modern PoE Wifi Access Point that I can put in the loft at the far end away from the router - that'll have to wait for next month as funds are running a bit low at the moment.
