Wow, had a helluva realization today:
Back in 1983 I was posted to West Berlin Germany. That day I put a semi-special beer opener on my keychain and proceeded to use it to open all my beers ever since. Today I was looking at my keychain when I realized I have had that there for over 40 long years.

I wonder if the Smithsonian is interested..
