Just after Night of the Demons, Kevin S. Tenney released Witchtrap, which still deals with some possession and kind of demonic things, but it's mostly remembered for a couple of bonkers acting choices and a Linnea Quigley shower scene.

1988's Night of the Demons is one of my favorite Halloween horrors from the very moment I saw it way back in the late 80s. It's got some decent monster makeup, gore, and doesn't take itself too seriously. It's still a favorite of mine to watch during Spooky Season.
