City simulation game: Lincity
Lincity is an open-source city-building simulation game in which you develop your city from a simple village into a highly advanced civilisation. The simulation has now been ported to the Amiga, complete with relaxing background soundtracks (which are not included in the original source code).
I've stared looking to some #Foss games. #Freedoom has been fun, and I'm ready to give #hedgewars and #lincity an honest try again.
I've been using wikipedia as my main source for findings these games but I would like to find some more for the heck of it if there are any not listed on the site's list page.
If anyone knows of an Open Source Game that 's not listed on there I would love to know about it.
Lincity is similar to #Micropolis in graphics and feel.
Different from Micropolis is the tech line. The tech line allows for buildings to be unlocked in exchange for tech points.
In Lincity you start with small houses and markets, using farms to provide workers to monuments. Eventually you build yourself up to rocket launchpads, sending people into space.
