Many years ago when my son was a toddler we stood in front of this rockface in Millersdale and he said "look at all the faces" #pareidolia We called it our "Mount Rushmore". The trees have steadily grown to cover the rock over the past 15 years or so, but they have recently been coppiced. Now we can seen the faces again! 😊 You might need to zoom in (the third pic has the best "presidents" 😉)

Die meisten kennen ja den #wasserkreislauf , aber wie sieht es aus mit dem Kohlenstoffkreislauf? Also der natürliche umfasst ja vereinfacht alle Lebewesen der Erde vom Einzeller bis zu arktischen Schwämmen. Wenn ich weiter vereinfache ist das alles #klimaneutral er Kohlenstoff. Der eine Kreislauf , des in den Organismus eingebauten der diesen durch Atmung abgibt oder freisetzen bei Tod , ist mal ein natürlicher Kreislauf. Alles fossile ist der zusätzliche Eintrag und hat in der gesamten Betrachtung des Kohlenstoffkreislauf nix verloren . Deshalb bin ich der Ansicht das wir dringend bei Kohlenstoff zwischen diesen beiden Arten unterscheiden sollten. Jeder kann ja mal recherchieren wie viel Kohlenstoff in Einzellern Insekten Pflanzen sonstigen Tieren „enthalten“ ist. Und wie viel wir durch Bergbau so in den Kreislauf schaufeln. Von Öl, Gas Kohle aber auch Gesteine die Kohlenstoff gespeichert haben #limestone.
