Watching #ElSalvador adopt #bitcoin via a wallet that appears to have been produced in the #USA by #BillGates' and #Microsoft's #LightningLabs just makes us feel somewhat uneasy.

Is anyone else queasy?

If we lived in ElSalvador we'd move our $30 worth of the #cryptocurrency off the #ChivoWallet at the very first opportunity. We hope this is possible.

That one is tricky. They definately had a slightly better algorithm than the competition at the time.

Society (more senior commentators) completely failed to warn about the dangers of everyone using one #searchEngine.

In their defense, the #Microsoft #monopoly was still fresh in mind and so they supposedly saw a fresh face in tech and quickly fawned over it.

It was a ground up to start with.

A good lesson for #groundUp movements (eg. #LightningLabs taking over #bitcoin).
