Approaching the end of the roll, and I didn't know that this film has light piping, so... It now looks like one of Psychedelic Blue's pre-fogged funky films and indeed looks kind of psychedelic. Pre-fogged film isn't my thing, but if I accidentally get that effect and it looks nice, then so be it. This is what I do after shooting in the rain: my vintage Canon AE-1 is not weather sealed and I can't avoid getting it a little wet when shooting in the rain. Once I get home, I pat it dry first, then take off the lens so interior moisture evaporates faster, and put it and the lens in a ziploc bag with two blue desiccant packs (I microwaved them when they turn pink to refresh them). Not sure if it's the best way but this camera still works fine after a few trips in the rain. #nyc #rain #nightphotography #streetphotography #lightleak #filmphotography #believeinfilm #filmisnotdead #canonae1 #darktable #35mm
Haven't posted color photos for a while. Here're some photos from Feb 28 to early March, Reflx Lab 800, digitally warmed with #darktable. Turns out it has light piping and I didn't know. This is Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Same trip when I shot CineStill 400D with my Debonair and the super expired Konica film; I changed to this roll after finishing the Konica roll. #nyc #winter #snow #botanicgarden #lightleak #nature #closeup #filmphotography #believeinfilm #analogphotography #filmisnotdead #35mm #canonae1
More from my Debonair #toycamera, Lomochrome Metropolis. Looks like histogram stretching does a good job preserving the unique color of this film. Light leaks are from my stupid mistake: I tried to attach the second roll of 120 film onto the tape of the first roll, and turns out I failed to load the second roll. It was still in the dark bag after I opened it to take the Paterson tank out to develop the first roll. Anyway, light leaks go well with the lomo vibe. #shittycamerachallenge #lightleak #subwaystation #lomography #lofi #filmphotography #analogphotography #believeinfilm #darktable #streetphotography #nyc
