My wife's Pixel 4 phone just died yesterday, after a nice walk around Pantcharevo lake. No warnings of any kind -- black screen and that was it... :( And we lost a few very good photos from that walk. #LifeOfMichel

01/Jan/2026, a few minutes after midnight. From now on, we can pay with Euro (EUR) in Bulgaria! Goodbye Bulgarian Lev (BGN) -- soon you will be decommissioned, as Bulgaria has officially entered the Eurozone today at midnight.

Letting go of some things of the past... Since today, I will no longer rent and use my P.O. Box 371 at the Sofia Central Post Office, 1000 Sofia. I was barely using it the last few years (electronic mail prevails nowadays), and when the 1-st of January 2026 started approaching, I finally made the leap.
