Am Donnerstag angefangen, #LifeOnOurPlanet @Netflix zu schauen - und nach einer etwas wirren ersten Folge über die "Regeln des Lebens", tauchen wir in Kapitel 2 heute endlich ab "Unter Wasser" ins Proterozoikum (2,4 Mrd. Jahre Jahre vor unserer Zeit) und beobachten Plankton dabei erstmals Sauerstoff zu produzieren, damit aus einem "gelben" Planeten Millionen Jahre später ein "blauer" wird. Eine dramatische Episode voller Anemonen, Quallen und Kopffüßern. Ansehnlich produziert (von Spielberg!).

Have been watching this series and can recommend. A bit theatrical at times, nonetheless it's an illuminating look into existence... I'm awed and reassured by the time spans involved and how negligible we are in the grand scheme of everything that has been, is, and will be. #LifeOnOurPlanet
