OOoh Paradox being aholes? Inconceivable!
Sad day. I went to find out if a new release date had been given for "Life By You" a life sim being developed, only to find out it has been cancelled.
It has been delayed a few times, but this is really sad.
I fear that there is now an expected quality to games prior to release, which is OK but at the same time I like seeing development moving towards what the community are looking for and "bugs" on release is part of that. The player will always go in unexpected directions.
I know Cities Skylines II is not right but I am enjoying playing it, it is being modded and I look forward to it's ongoing growth, development and expansions.
I had the same idea towards Life by You and was really looking forward to a new entrant to the "life sim" genre and see where it would go.
Now we wait for Paralives to come out, which has been on a much longer development cycle. Or return to The Sims 3, since The Sims 4 is slowly becoming unplayable.
I still like Paradox who do have a good game portfolio that I enjoy. They have 4 of my top ten played games. They always seem honest and appear to support the gamer unlike other publishers who sneak in micro transactions after launch looking after shareholders pockets rather than the gamer experience.
Any way, sad day and now need to look elsewhere for a new life game.
Life by You bizitza simulatzailea The Sims sagari aurre egitera zetorren, baina azkenik jokatu gabe geratuko gara.

Paradox argitaletxeak Life by You ezeztatu du. Iaz iragarritako bizitza simulatzaileak bi berandutze jasan ditu: bertan behera uztea “erabaki ikaragarri gogorra” izan da Mattias Lilja Paradoxeko arduradun nagusiaren arabera, baina, bere esanetan, “denborak ez liguke asebeteta geratzeko moduko bertsioa sortzea ahalbidetuko”.
