I know nothing about lichen, but was trying to figure out what the orange ones were, and I thought it might be rusavskia elegans? But I would love to get more knowledgeable opinions, on either the orange or pale grey lichen on this gravestone! #lichensubscribe

I'm wondering if this is some kind of Usnea lichen? We use evergreen boughs (purchased from a wholesaler) to protect our climbing roses, and this was in amongst the greens. Still a nice minty green after the winter cold, but clearly out of place in a Connecticut rose garden.

Any chance it would be happy tucked into a tree somewhere in the garden?
