An open letter to ICE death squads:

Here is why we will win. Not because our cause is just and yours is not - though it most certainly is. Not because we have greater numbers than you - though that is certainly the case. Not because you imagine us to be weak willed and helpless - though that is certainly a fiction that we have allowed your kind to believe. But because you are so unimaginably, cartoonishly fucking stupid.

Every single day we dream up new ways to fight you, to find you, to identify you, to infiltrate your ranks and expose you from within, to deny you any safe harbor or even a single night's rest. We are, right this moment, inventing new ways to resist you, to bring you and your rancid Nazi-lite ideology down low, to exterminate it from our society for the good of all humankind. And you, a middle-school dropout with brains further addled from years of protecting pedophiles and eating horse paste, can only ever be reactive to that. The very very worst you will ever do is kill a few of us. And in so doing, you sow the seeds of your own destruction.

Sleep if you can tonight. We are coming. We are already here. We have friends everywhere.

Today we finished our first game of #LibertyorDeath from #gmt. It was a pretty close game, but certainly made a few errors in rules. Thanks to the French naval blockades, my wife secured a close victory for the Patriots by nullifying British support in the final scoring.

Gameplay didn't feel that smooth since we were not yet fully familiar with commands of each faction. But it didn't matter that much.

I certainly appreciate the beautiful production of the game (the map is probably the best from the games I have). I also like combat modifiers (although it makes combat a little more complicated). And I like the fact that the naval aspect of the conflict is also included. IMHO, the game works well for two players, which is a huge plus for us.

Our next COIN is going to be probably one of the expansions for Fire in the Lake.
