I'm setting up a #Liberapay account as it appears to be more ethical (and less American/British) than Ko-Fi or Buy Me a Coffee. You still have to use either #Paypal or #Stripe, so in that sense it's really just another interface to the same system, but at least it's open source.

Everything seems normal so far, but I can't seem to add an avatar unless I make an account on something called Libravatar or connect to a limited number of other sites. What's up with this @Liberapay ? Why can't I just upload a small avatar picture?
