The problem with trying to position family, faith and freedom as somehow in opposition to LGBTQ+ pride, is that they are not in tension.
Queer people have families they care deeply for. MANY if not most have some sort of faith; and all of them care deeply about freedom in terms of individual liberty.
The bigots as per usual mean "the correct families", "the correct faith" and "only the correct freedoms."
AND ironically when your saying "only the correct freedoms" you've stopped talking about freedom. #lgbtq #uspol #northCarolina #ncpol

Didn't know there was a new lyric video for this track - played at his funeral for those new to my postings here. I posted the old one from Carrie and Lowell a LOT after he died, almost monthly.

Still true, sadly. I can't see myself loving anyone else, maybe it will happen but I can't go through this again...so I'd rather be alone.
Losing someone you planned your entire life with is something I'd not wish on my worst enemy.
As I wrote over on the video:
"This album is the best expression of grief ever recorded, and this song is for me the heart of the album, the centre of the storm. Nice to have a new lyric video for it.
