Lexus will end LC production this August, closing a nine-year run with over 15,000 units sold. The 471-hp / 351-kW V8 coupe and convertible are now “get ‘em while you can” items, including the limited Inspiration Series. With the hybrid gone and an electric successor coming, the naturally aspirated LC 500’s high-revving charm will be a thing of the past.
Lexus recorded its best year ever in 2025, selling 882,231 cars globally (+4%). North America led with 408,070 units, while Africa saw the fastest growth. As sales rise, Lexus plans to retire the LS sedan and reinvent it as “Luxury Space,” signaling a bold shift toward more experimental electric designs. 🚗⚡

Interesting to see the base price of the ES350e (EV) comes in a wee bit less than the ES350h (hybrid).
The economies of scale of using the same motors and battery packs with the bZ and upcoming Highlander EV is probably helping a little bit.
