The day starts with #frustration! I'm using the Norwegian Historical Population Register (https://histreg.no/index.php/home) to get IDs for the Norwegian Emigrants who left for North America in the middle of the 19th century. But alas! I cannot verify any so far…
Name variations, spelling errors, lack of sources, and the (low) social status of emigrants make this difficult.

🧬⌛ Well, it turns out that I cannot clone myself nor travel through time…

💬 The analysis of 17 90-minute interviews on practices of scholarly editions will have to be extended. There is no chance I can get this done by June.

💼 I will instead prioritise hiring a new student assistant who will start in August and organise a social event for the #SustainableDSE network.
