Let's play a game of "What If".
What if the Federal Government started running ads in #Ontario that used Ford's own words to highlight his hypocrisy. Like on (in no particular order):
- Speed Cameras (legalized them in 2019, made them illegal in 2025)
- Building Housing (only gotten ±20% of committed housing built over last 6 years)
- Improving Healthcare (Health Ministry routinely under-spends their budget while costly private providers flourish)
- Keeping Ontario residents ALIVE during a pandemic (remember he told people to "get out, enjoy March Break!")
- Abiding by Ontario's environmental laws when building unnecessary or grossly undersized infrastructure
- Abiding by Ontario's corruption, transparency, and even the Stunt Driving laws (Ford's office got a staffer excused from 12 separate >50km'/h OVER LIMIT stunt driving charges)
I think #DougFord and #Conservatives would be APOPLECTIC!

Let's be clear #Canada, #Ontario, #DougFord is willing to TAKE DOWN THE WHOLE ECONOMY in his bid to topple #PierrePoilievre and be the leader of the #ConservativeParty.
Asked about Carney's contention he was told not to run the ad, Ford merely said "I had a different recollection of our conversation", before deflecting to addressing a different conversation AFTER the ad had aired, whereupon he then informed the PM he'll keep the ad up over their objections.
Carney contends he explicitly told Ford NOT to run the ad on multiple occasions PRIOR to them being run.
This kind of jurisdictional overreach in and of itself is a #scandal!
But add to that the why off it all:
Not to improve Canada's economy but because it polled well among CONSERVATIVE PARTY MEMBERS!
He's willing to risk the jobs and prosperity of all of the people who continue to economically interact with the US in order to score political points.
