One in the greenhouse —bushy with 30 chillies, none ripe yet! Hope they ripen before it gets too cold!

Already dreaming of next year's grow, greenhouse might be the way to go! 🌱

The lemon drop chillies have officially moved into the community greenhouse — and they're thriving! 🌶️

But with the heat in there, the soil dries out super fast. To keep the moisture in, I mulched the ground with organic straw from a nearby community farm. 🌾

Fingers crossed it does the trick! 🤞

But, if you insist on sipping one of these, don’t pour yourself a helping as big as this. This is mostly for show. Instead, take this 20% ABV/40 proof sipper seriously and try it 2 ounces at a time.

Out of the bottle, Purple Rain produces nothing in the way of lacing or head. Under the white light, Purple Rain has a blushed indigo appearance and is clear.
Swirling and sniffing, we recover bright notes of lemon zest, orange blossom, and some floral notes. Truly, there is something almost vodka-like in the aroma.
Sipping, we recover notes that match the aroma along with some apple sweetness. Overall, Purple Rain has a strong mouthfeel, a definite alcoholic warmth, and a stickiness that remains.
