adventures in left-handedness:

i found out today i cannot use
my right hand to insert a key into a lock.

i tried to do it because my left hand was occupied but it was like my hand was drunk and just couldnt figure out *how* the key was supposed to get in there.

its very odd finding out what my right hand cant do at almost 50.

Being a leftie who loves fountain pens can be challenging. You've just written a beautiful essay on the left page in your nice Tomoe River notebook, you continue on the right page.... Smudges everywhere as your writing hand moves over what you just wrote.

To prevent this, I'm experimenting with filling my notebook from the back, writing on the right page first, then left. It feels a little awkward but I'm hoping that's just because it is new. Anyone else tried this?
