I found a CD-R that had been lurking in the basement for over 20 years. It had a live show by the Polyphonic Spree on it. I was at the show, but didn't make the recording.

And don't forget @shout at #leespalace! You've heard them at raptors games, at Jazz Fest, at Union Station, at the #DromTaberna #cameronhouse or #Mekan, on street corners — now catch the WHOLE show!

N. B.: May include a #DrumLine.

I did hear someone say this may be the only time she'd get to hear a #TaylorSwift tune played live, but I won't get into that…

In line for the IamX show in Toronto. The line is full of goths. #IAmX #concert #LeesPalace

On Sunday I got to see one of my nostalgic favourite bands, Life of Agony, play Lee's Palace here in Toronto with Sick of It All, who I didn't really know. Wow. Great show, great energy from both bands.

The friendly crowd and the message of love from the stage even convinced me to get up and try to dance for bit - at least until these old bones started to creak.

Jay Schizoid on Instagram: "Dear The Internet I saw Life of Agony & Sick of It All last night @ Lee's Palace it was sure Swell Just got there as openers Spewgore had ended. I did intend to see some but with knee problem It was Okay with me to see a 2 bands Show. Lees was the most packed Ive ever seen it, Hundreds of people! Going out for inbetween sets joint was madness SOIA were on fucking fire. The first time I saw them was back in 1997. Then later 1997, 2001 2008 2018 so this was my sixth time There was more emphasis on older songs & the Scratch the Surface & Built to Last album which made it better than last time Consume, Maladjusted, Built to Last, Us Vs Them, Step Down, Scratch the Surface were all fiiire LOA I had seen them one other time 2019. This time they were playing the River Runs Red album which I bought in 1993 30 years ago LOL It was a really fuckin strong set, they know thats what we want from them. It was real emotional & I can't say I wasn't tearing up through like almost every song :~~~| The album is a concept album about a troubled teen who ends up offing himself @ the end of the album. Inbetween songs there is these vignettes where he hears answering machines from his boss, teacher, girlfriend, they're all firing/failing/dumping him. They had these vignettes inbetween those same songs, which was really powerful Only complaint about their show: At album end the teen he sl@#$ts his wr@#$sts & dies. @ beginning of 2019 Sound of Scars album u find out he lived & you hear the police arriving to resusitate him They played last RRR song The Stain Remains & then went right into the first post intro song from SoS. I think they should have introduced Stain..., played it, go off stage & let us hear the combined RRR outro & SoS intro, before coming back & doing Scars I was anticipating the end of the album when the kid dies. I see in other shows on this tour they did it its maybe kinda morbid but its like say watching Pulp Fiction & skipping the end "Honey bunny" part Maybe there wasn't enough time or something. If they did it'd be 10/10 otherwise It gets 9.5/10. #lifeofagony #sickofitall #toronto #leespalace #inertiaentertainment"
