This Saturday we'll be exploring the Contemporary Gothic all day at Leeds Lit Fest! Starting with workshops by myself and Lucie McKnight Hardy (both already sold out), at 5.30 I'll discuss the Language of Fear with Mark Morris, Alison Littlewood and Lucie. After that, at 7.30pm, I'll be interviewing Catriona Ward about her career and her amazing new novel Looking Glass Sound. Tickets are in the comments below.

According to Travel Daily, our day of Contemporary Gothic events at Leeds Lit Fest is one of the most exciting things to do in Leeds this year. Seems a rather grandiose claim given we're only just into February, but I'm not going to argue with it...

Being a member of the Leeds art community, I was on the fence about #Leeds2023, the year of culture and arts that has descended onto the city. Mostly because when a bunch of people from other cities rock into your city and tell you how to do art, its easy to get defensive.
However after its opening Gala I am sold. The #Awakening has me brimming with local pride and excitement for the year ahead.
Book now for screenings of The Magician at The Warehouse in Holbeck.
We can't wait to watch it with you!
