Il presidente americano inoltre terrà stasera ''un discorso alla nazione per fornire un importante aggiornamento sull'Iran''. Lo ha dichiarato la portavoce della Casa Bianca Karoline Leavitt con un post su 'X'. Trump terrà il suo discorso alle 21 ora locale, ha precisato Leavitt, le 3 in Italia.
Nel frattempo è emerso che la nuova Guida suprema dell'Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, ha inviato una lettera al Segretario Generale di Hezbollah, Naim Qassem, promettendo che Teheran continuerà a sostenere il gruppo libanese. Ringraziando Qassem per la sua solidarietà, Khamenei ha lodato i "sentimenti di amore e lealtà" espressi dai combattenti di Hezbollah. In particolare ha riconosciuto che Qassem sta guidando Hezbollah in un " momento critico nella storia della resistenza" e ha espresso la sua fiducia nella sua "saggezza, intelligenza e coraggio per sventare e annientare i piani del nemico sionista e per restituire orgoglio e prosperità al popolo libanese”.

The American president will also hold a “speech to the nation tonight to provide an important update on Iran.” This was stated by White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt in a post on ‘X’. Trump will deliver his speech at 9 p.m. local time, Leavitt specified, 1 a.m. in Italy.
Meanwhile, it emerged that the new Supreme Guide of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, has sent a letter to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Naim Qassem, promising that Tehran will continue to support the Lebanese group. Thanking Qassem for his solidarity, Khamenei praised the “feelings of love and loyalty” expressed by Hezbollah fighters. He particularly recognized that Qassem is leading Hezbollah in a “critical moment in the history of the resistance” and expressed his confidence in his “wisdom, intelligence, and courage to thwart and annihilate the plans of the Zionist enemy and to restore pride and prosperity to the Lebanese people.”
