Turned off a server last week, went to turn it on and it seems grub was foobar'd seems it isnt repairable easly so i am just gonna nuke and pave. i dont have enough faith in #leap16 from @opensuse so i will install #tumbleweed instead. I am not arsed enough to fight with leap 16 to put it into production and the migration tool has screwed one production machine up and several VM's. Sigh... i hope the SSD's are OK.

Texas TechnicianJust tried out the new Agama installer for OpenSUSE Leap 16, and overall, I’m impressed. The setup process is clean and modern, but I did run into a small bug in the network settings — when connecting to Wi-Fi, the toggle that determines whether the system actually uses that network is broken. Clicking it eventually kicked me out of the session completely.

Ayer a una empresa intenté actualizar de un Leap 15.6 a una Leap 16.0.
Lo habÃa probado en mis equipos, tanto fijos como laptop e incluso de un ordenador de pruebas de la empresa. Y todo bien.
Utilice la herramienta opensuse-migrating-tools
Todo iba muy bien pero al arrancar pantalla negra. Pudiendo mover el ratón pero nada
Intentado hacer de todo. Reinstalar plasma con comando, sddm y nada.
Alguna sugerencia. Me gustarÃa desinstalar todo entorno gráfico y recuperar plasma6 y sddm.
