Watching Arcane S2. There's clash of convictions and ideologies, there's interpersonal drama, there's backstabbing, etc. All presented in a uniquely beautiful audiovisual package.
But sometimes the themes that speak out to me the most are the dulling of scientific idealism and the realisation that perhaps man shouldn't try to control forces he cannot understand.
It reminds me of a quote I read a while back: “Man suffers only because he takes seriously what the gods made for fun.”
