A good take from Hannah Gais on Nick Fuentes' recent appearance on Tucker Carlson's podcast, the back-and-forth about it on the right, and what it all might say about where they're collectively heading.

She writes:

There’s plenty of hypocrisy to point out here. For one, Heritage is the author of Project Esther, a guidebook for cracking down left-wing anti-Zionist student protesters on college and university campuses. One of its top priorities is to “expose the critical resources fueling antisemitism” through what it dubs the “Hamas Support Network.”

But that’s not what I want to focus on here. Instead, I want to explore the question that has been nagging me since I first learned of Fuentes’ appearance on Tucker Carlson: How did we get here? And, in the long term, what does it mean?

If you had asked me in 2016 whether I thought I’d write a blog about the Heritage Foundation defending a former Fox News host after he hosted a friendly conversation with one of the country’s leading white nationalists, I’d probably ask if you were drunk. But it’

Let's get one thing straight the #GOP and their allies are #fascist and need to be stopped by any means necessary.

Organizations like
#TPUSA have purposefully controlled the #Republican county parties by training up and putting money behind their candidate. They have infiltrated board of regents for universities and school board elections.

The
#LeadershipInstitute, one of the orgs that came together to write the manifesto has been training conservatives young to old to run for local office but to also as well takeover every branch of politics.

These people are everywhere and must be stopped. They work together and inflate their numbers, but the numbers they do have are vicious and deserve nothing even less than the respect given to a roach.

We see what they have been doing. Changing the laws to fit them. Sueing enough to get what they want. Having the supreme court be the rulers, but with this plan there would be nothing in the way to stop them.

"#Fascist “Parental rights” groups like #MomsforLiberty, which have deep ties to the #GOP, are popping up at #schoolboards across America, often with #ProudBoys as their #muscle, to seize political power under the guise of fighting LGBTQ “indoctrination” in schools. These “grassroots” groups are frequently assisted and trained by religious hategroups like #TurningPointUSA, #TheHeritageFoundation, and the #LeadershipInstitute, as well as #untaxed #megachurches that function like #PACs.”
The #LeadershipInstitute just launched a #SchoolBoard training HQ in #Sarasota, #Florida. This is the same group that works with other conservative orgs to train students and candidates across the country and has roots going all the way back to the #Goldwater campaign

Fancelli is currently the sole funder and president of the George Jenkins Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit that made a $1.3 million contribution to Moms for America (dark money group that sponsored the Jan. 6 rally) (2021-01-06).

One of the George Jenkins Foundation’s largest grants was $660,000 to the Leadership Institute, a nonprofit that provides training for conservative activists.
