While I am not big on having my name correctly pronounced or spelt, as I don't think it's a big deal and that my name isn't the easiest for non-Indians. So I, generally, don't take offense to it or feel bad as I don't think most of them are doing it intentionally. However, it does feel special when folks remember your name and say it properly. Especially, those with authority, our leaders, or folks we look up to.
