#LawlessRides day 2 update: after 4 hours in delays boarding followed an hour and a half sitting on the tarmac at Montreal in the #snowstorm, the plane left and reached Paris! That’s one drink for me (I’ll save ‘em up, no worries). And now I’m on a last minute train to #strasbourg to join the rest of the family for the #Christmas #market. It’s a December 23rd miracle!
#LawlessRides update: we got to do a round of the ol’ “They changed the gate without telling the people waiting at the old gate” musical chairs. #delayed even further till 5 past midnight now, but on the plus side the plane is here and they’re telling us they’re nearly ready to board. So per game rules it’s be drinks in both sides, except every damn place is closed here and there is nary a drink to be had!
Time for another instalment of #LawlessRides, this time with a special #bombcyclone #christmas #storm edition!
Currently on hour 3 of 5 waiting to find out if my #flight to #Paris will be leaving #Montreal or not, after an initial 3 hour delay.
While I’ve been waiting, the snow and wind have been steadily picking up out the boarding hall windows.
Any bets on how this one ends? I feel like Kevin’s mom in Home Alone, but without John Candy to help.
The poor bastard in line next to me in #paris last time had been stuck there for a week because WestJet had denied him boarding to his own country. Damn good thing I didn’t start #LawlessRides back then, or else my liver might not have survived!

I’m thinking the #LawlessRides twist should be: I drink if something goes right, and we BOTH drink if/when something goes wrong, if only in commiseration. Alcohol not required but I’ll sure be looking for it where available!
