    The Twelve Universal Laws

    Based on the Seven Hermetic Principles of Hermes Trismegistus

    A quick search engine query will land you with results listing a wide array of universal laws and authors from a myriad of scholarly disciplines. I watched a video posted to YouTube that outlined FIFTY universal laws!

    While the information included in the video was valid and relevant, they are mere extensions of a list that was first published in 1908 in a sacred esoteric text titled, The Kybalion.

    The authors, identified only as the “Three Initiates,” reportedly documented divine revelations of Hermes Trimegistus of ancient Egypt that had before only been passed verbally to initiates.

    Known as the Hermetic Principles, these immutable and eternal laws of the universe influence everything around us, every detail and circumstance in our lives. Our ignorance of their existence is not an accident. They have been kept hidden from us because, without them, we can’t comprehend the hidden connections between our internal and external worlds, and we are subject to the volatile nature of our emotions. This makes us much easier to control and manipulate.

    In the ever-evolving landscape of personal development and philosophical thought, the Law of Vibration stands out as a profound principle that can transform our understanding of reality and our experience of life.

    This principle asserts that everything in the universe is in a state of constant motion, emitting frequencies that can influence and interact with other frequencies. The idea is rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern science, reflecting the Divine Oneness of all things.

    The Law of Vibration: Everything is in constant motion, vibrating at a specific frequency.

    Everything is made of energy that vibrates at specific frequencies. 

    Have you ever walked into a room and you feel the excitement? Or you feel the tension and dread? Much like microphones and speakers, we as humans send and can receive vibrational frequencies.

    Some people are more acutely aware of this phenomena when they speak about seeing auras. I can easily show you what I am talking about when I report sensing the push or pull of energy during Reiki healing sessions.

    Everything (every atom, object, and living thing) is in constant motion, vibrating at a specific frequency. All matter has its own vibrational frequency.

    At its core, the Law of Vibration posits that every object, thought, emotion, and even our very selves are vibrational frequencies. This concept extends beyond the physical realm to encompass the intangible, such as our thoughts and feelings. The basic idea is that we are not isolated entities but rather part of a grand, vibrational symphony. Our personal vibrations, influenced by our state of being, can attract similar frequencies, thus shaping our experiences and interactions with the world.

    In order to materialize or manifest something in your life, you must first match the vibration of what you want.

    You can use this universal law to help you navigate life by figuring out how you feel in a situation or scenario at any given time. The more you become of aware of your own energy, the better equipped you are to attune your vibration, and the more you see how your energy affects the external world around you.

    Entertaining positive or negative thoughts and actualizing their power through words are huge factors in the vibrational frequencies we emit. Feelings and emotions also hold vibrational frequencies, ranging from very low frequency (fear, shame, etc.) to high frequency (joy and love).

    When you get stuck in negative thought patterns of guilt, shame, fear, anger, etc., the universe responds with the same frequencies in your external world.
