If I were a #LawLibrarian I could dig into the history of the relevant laws/regulations. Sadly, all I can share is that California's 1,850 foot radius gets you about 250 acres of privacy, while the 1,750 foot radius hits closer to 220 acres. Had to be based on something, but what?
