I’m back in NL and it’s hard to believe that I was still in SG less than a week ago. So much has happened!

Today I had cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for lunch (but did spice up the sandwiches with rose harissa and salad), and while scrolling my phone, came across these pics of my one-to-last and last suppers in Singapore: rava dosa at Lau Pa Sat and rava dosa at Madras New Woodlands.

The vibes are quite different. I arrived at Lau Pa Sat rather late, so I was super happy that my favourite Indian vegetarian stall still had rava dosa. The next day, having farewell dinner with my friends in Little India, I was really sad that this would be my last rava dosa for the foreseeable future, not to mention my last time hanging out with my friends 😭

Just the best night in Singapore tonight. Was exhausted after a long day of pampering (no jokes please) and then decided to try a hawkers market we'd never been to.

OMG. I've died and gone to heaven. Satay Street plus Hokkaido donuts plus sugar cane and fried chicken and it's a flavour explosion in the best possible way.

There's a lot of very nice and quite fancy places to eat in Singapore. But I don't really care to be honest. I love the hawker markets and the smoke filled air the billion kinds of delicious. It's the best of Chinese street food meets the best of Malay street food meets the best of Indian street food and this is what Asia is all about.
