I've been looking into laser hair removal for my face/neck. Initially I was quoted by a dermatologist $800 per session in Back Bay; that was too steep for me.

I then checked out a couple of laser technicians in Cambridge and Somerville at what I guess are considered 'med spas', both of whom quoted me like $150 per session; they're not licensed dermatologists however and I didn't feel comfortable with that.

Today I went to another dermatologist in North End who does laser; she quoted me $450 per session; it's still a little higher than I'd prefer but I'm going with it. She also said it might take only 6 sessions; the other people thought like 8 to 12 or more, so in total it might not be that much more costly comparatively speaking. 🤷🏻

Anyway I'm looking forward to the possibility of having substantially less hair on my face. Maybe I'll get my beard taxidermied.
