I'll share something neat for #Virginia people today since it's Saturday. The IdeaSpace #Makerspace in #Fredericksburg is run by the library system (CRRL) there which includes counties around Fredericksburg too, but also other counties, including Caroline County, have a reciprocal agreement with CRRL so they can get a CRRL card if they show their own county's library card getting access too. This makes it so, even if you're out here in rural Virginia, if you occasionally need #3DPrinting, #LaserCutting, or even an audio recording booth, you have free access (although make sure to schedule time and get trained first).

The #resin pour ended up with some bubbles, so, I ended up not filming as much of the process as I wanted to, because as soon as things go a bit wrong and I have to go into trouble-shooting mode, I always forget to record (especially under a time crunch) - ha! - but I plan on making another video later showing the glue-up process and the routing of the edges etc,...

To all the #FreeCAD fans out there.

I am working on a #LaserCutting design and when I export from TechDraw to SVG, the parts are all rendered with fill that I then need to delete lest the laser decide to engrave it.

Is there a way to make that not happen?

I am guessing this is a template thing, but I don't really understand how templates work.
